Regional Convention and Competition 2023: Brisbane

Get ready to rise, shine and sing! This event will be held at Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC) on 4–7 May, 2023. Our competition sessions will be held in the Plaza Ballroom. Registrations have now closed, but you can still buy tickets for some sessions - see details below!


Webcast:

This year, the Quartet Competition, Chorus Competition and Parade of Champions will be live-streamed on YouTube! These videos will also be available for later viewing. Access the live stream via the Sweet Adelines Australia YouTube channel HERE.

The Full Program contains acknowledgements, judge bios, award information, venue map and other exciting information. Schedule and Traffic Pattern Only contains key details for those of you who just want to know where to be and when. And last but not least, we have two Scoring and Sketching Booklets, for people who love sketching costumes and making notes on each performance. There's one booklet for each competition session!

Session Tickets:

Do you have friends or family that are itching to see you strut your stuff on stage and watch other sensational performances? Now they can!

General public session tickets to a number of convention sessions are now available. Here's the link to book tickets:  https://www.trybooking.com/CHJLP  

Please note that seating on the day will be fluid so session ticket holders will need to give priority to full convention registrants as choruses move to their allocated seating (the Saturday daytime session is likely to sell out - limited tickets are being released on Saturday 29 April at midday AEST / 11:30am ACST / 10am AWST). 

Ticket prices are:

• Friday day pass to the Quartet Competition - $40
• Saturday day pass to the Chorus Competition - $40 - NB: extremely limited seating available
• Saturday evening pass to the Parade of Champions and Afterglow - $40
• Harmony Sunday pass to the masterclasses, closing ceremony and education sessions - $60

• Friday Opening Ceremony and Quartet Competition - 11.30 am
• Saturday Chorus Competition - 11.00 am
• Saturday Parade of Champions - Approx 6.30 pm (dependent on conclusion of Chorus Competition)
• Harmony Sunday - 9.30am
